The course runs for ten weeks in total, and you can see which week the course starts below startvecka. You can also see which weeks that has breaks for holidays, and the final occasion of the course, below lovdagar. Monday is counted as the first day of the week.
Our courses are held in Swedish, but of course there will be no setback for a non-Swedish speaking child to participate.

About the Funkykidz course

Funkykidz is the biggest dance school in Sweden for children. All children between 2-6 years can explore dancing and have fun to good music at Funkykidz. It's also possible to listen to the music at our website. Every new semester we produce new music, choreographies, and the children develop year by year. One semester is ten lessons, and one lesson is 40 minutes.

Dance show

Every school year ends with a festive dance show. The children will show what they have learned during the semester. 

Idea and quality

Funkykidz is a dance school built on happiness, experiences and fellowship. The content and music are pre choreographed, which means every step, movement and music is already prepared. That is why the courses keep a high quality all over the country and the content is the same no matter where you participate.

Our Dance teachers

At all our Funkykidz-centers there are well-educated and inspiring dance teachers who conveys happiness and experiences. They have all been participating in a solid education by us and is continuously participating in further education.

Age division

2-3 years: The child need to have turned two years before the course starts. In this age group it's extra important to have the right age before the course starts. One parent per child is participating actively during the lesson. It's not possible for unenrolled siblings to attend.
4-6 years: For the older age groups the child must turn the minimum age 4 in the same year that the semester is ongoing. If your child need you in the age group 4-6 years we have a special place for parents in the dance hall. Siblings can't attend and we ask you to avoid your cell phone. Show your child attention and we get a good lesson.    

Extra support

At some times children need extra support to join the course. We contact you if our dance trainers feel that your child need you as a parent to be present. Then we wish one parent to join as support for your child.
